Welcome to Olympic High School

Olympic High School is the accredited continuation high school of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Our students thrive in a smaller learning environment, benefiting from a diverse curriculum and programs. Students have individualized educational programs with a strong emphasis on a standards-based curriculum, intensive guidance/counseling, and project-based learning.

Olympic High School students reflect a richly diverse population visibly engaged in a personalized academic environment supported by a devoted staff of instructors, counselor, and support personnel.

Olympic builds on student strengths as we assist each student in achieving academic success through a respectful and supportive process. Students participate in a wide variety of elective programs while moving toward the completion of their high school diploma.

PTSA presents Angst FilmJoin us for a free screening of "Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety” on January 22, 2019 at 6:30pm in Samohi's Barnum Hall. This event is open to all SMMUSD families, but please keep in mind that the film is recommended for children 11 years and older. Learn more>

Help Plan Our Schools

As part of its process to plan the future of school learning environments, SMMUSD will hold a series of public meetings to discuss the set of standards and requirements being developed to update district campuses, buildings and classrooms. The district is seeking input from parents, students, staff and community members to help create our Educational Specifications plan, a master list of requirements for indoor and outdoor learning space.
